(Quran About Fingerprint And Fingerprinting : Islam And Science)
When Non-Muslims (Unbelievers) argued about the resurrection taking place after bones of dead people have disintegrated in the grave (earth) and how each and every individual would be alienated on the Day of Judgement. Almighty Allah (The Creator) answers in The Holy Quran as:
Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers”   (Quran; 75-3)
Allah says that He cannot only assemble our bones but can also recover exactly our very fingertips.
Why does the Quran, while talking about determination of the identity of the individual, points specifically to fingertips?
The answer lies within it that No two persons in the world can ever have exactly the same fingerprint, not even the identical twins. (This is the reason why fingerprinting finds wide use in forensic department worldwide). This knowledge became conceptualized only after the research done by Sir Francis Golt. However, fourteen hundred years ago, who could have known the uniqueness of each person’s fingerprint? Obviously, it could have been none other than the Creator Himself.
